Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville, the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013, where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. The actress also played the title role in the film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She has a younger sister Ally. As a child, Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory for the 2012 class. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote for her admission a second time because of her Nashville part. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). In season two, she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder in an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the most talented actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
